New Senior Years English teacher James Jesson talks about his passion for working as an educator

Teaching young minds to love language, writing and literature inspires me. I aim to ensure every one of the students feels like they can achieve their best.

It’s my goal to facilitate and guide each of my students to reach their personal best.  Every interaction in the classroom and on the sporting field should be viewed as a learning opportunity for the students.

I was previously English and Media teacher at Wonthaggi Secondary College and more recently Year 8 Coordinator and Year 10 Program Leader at Christian Brothers College, St Kilda.

I was drawn to Peninsula Grammar for its excellent English Department and its long-standing tradition of celebrating the achievement of each and every student.
