Head of School
Head of School Scarlet Murdoch on Peninsula's remarkable staff, their impact and her aims for 2020
It feels like only yesterday that I joined Peninsula Grammar in Year 8. Time has flown and it is hard to fathom that I am in my final year of school.
The number of opportunities students have available at Peninsula is astounding. I have enjoyed many of the international trips which are on offer such as World Challenge and the French Exchange. Both trips taught me so much about myself, other people and the world around me. I have also taken part in House events, school productions, sports teams and student committees.
However, the unique thing about Peninsula is the staff. All my teachers have helped me to discover my true passions and have catered for my individual needs, making me feel important and accepted.
As Head of School, I aspire to continue the legacy of making people feel meaningful and memorable. It is important that we celebrate all people and their achievements, regardless of how big or small the milestone is.
I look forward to enhancing relationships with students from all Year levels to help them pursue their passions and explore new ideas.
