The Mini Musical Extravaganza

Peninsula Grammar is proud to present the Junior School Production, the Mini Musical Extravaganza, a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent. This highly anticipated event will take place on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August at 6:30 PM in Ansett Hall. Featuring captivating performances from our youngest students, this year’s production promises to delight audiences of all ages.

The Mini Musical Extravaganza offers a series of uniquely staged adaptations of well-loved tales. Beginning with our Preps, audiences will be whisked away to Neverland in Captain Hook and the Smiley Crocodile, a whimsical reimagining of Peter Pan’s adventures. Year One’s will delight with their lively performance of Goldilocks and the House of the Bears.

Year Two’s take the stage with Three Little Pigs, a disco-rap retelling sure to leave the audience in laughter. The tale of Pinocchio will be brought to life by Year Three’s in a jazzy adaptation of this timeless classic. Finally, the Year Four’s will energise the performance with Little Red Rocking Hood, a ‘rap-rock’ musical set during the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll.

Each year level has worked tirelessly to bring their characters to life, showcasing a variety of musical styles combined with engaging storytelling. Together, these performances highlight the imagination and enthusiasm of our Junior School students.

We invite all members of our school community to join us for this extraordinary event. Stay tuned for further announcements, including ticket availability, which we anticipate will sell quickly for this much-loved annual tradition.

Prepare for an evening of entertainment, creativity, and sheer joy as we celebrate the remarkable talents of our young performers. We look forward to sharing this magical experience with you.
