Summer Sport Wrap-Up

The 2025 summer sport season at Peninsula Grammar concluded with an impressive display of athleticism, teamwork and spirit. With 73 teams participating across a wide range of disciplines, including Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Equestrian, Sailing, Softball, Swimming, Touch Football, Triathlon and Volleyball.

The season was both dynamic and rewarding for all involved. A particular highlight of the term was the performance of our First XI Cricket team, who travelled to Hutchins School in Tasmania and proudly reclaimed the coveted “Boot Game” trophy. The team went on to qualify for the AGSV Semi Finals, where they narrowly missed victory in a tightly contested match. The team ultimately finished third on the AGSV ladder, an outstanding achievement.

Our First Girls Volleyball team also delivered a strong performance throughout the season, demonstrating consistency and resilience to secure a commendable fourth-place finish on the ladder.

To celebrate the efforts and successes of our athletes, Peninsula Grammar hosted a Summer Sport Celebration Evening, honouring the commitment and contributions of our First Teams and Squad program participants. This event offered a fitting conclusion to a season defined by hard work, sportsmanship and personal growth.

Looking ahead, preparation is already underway for the upcoming winter sport season. Year-level teams have commenced training in the final weeks of Term 1, while First Team athletes are currently engaged in a dedicated trials and pre-season training program designed to build readiness and refine performance.

We are proud of all students who represented Peninsula Grammar with distinction this summer. Their achievements reflect not only athletic skill, but also the values of perseverance, integrity and teamwork that lie at the heart of our sporting program.
