National Boarding Week at Peninsula Grammar
Last week, Peninsula Grammar proudly celebrated National Boarding Week, a time to recognise and honour the unique experiences, friendships and contributions of our Boarding community.
The week was filled with meaningful activities that reflected the spirit of connection that defines boarding at Peninsula Grammar. A highlight was the joint service initiative with MLC, where students came together to support Ronald McDonald House, demonstrating the value of giving back to the wider community.
On Wednesday evening, the H.A. Macdonald Pavilion came alive as Boarders and guests gathered for a special Boarding Community Dinner. The evening was a joyful celebration, featuring a special quiz where our Principal, Deputy Principal and Head of EAL competed against one another to determine who knew the most about our Boarders – a spirited competition that ended with Mr Cram taking out the prize by the narrowest of margins!
Beyond the fun and festivities, the week was an opportunity to acknowledge the many individuals who make boarding at Peninsula Grammar such a positive and enriching experience. Our Boarders took time to thank the dedicated Boarding Staff who live and work within the community, offering support, guidance and care each day.
National Boarding Week reminded us of the strength and vibrancy of our community, a place where each student is supported and inspired to reach their full potential.
