Discovering Me

Prep to Year 4

Our Discovering Me program has a strong 21st century curriculum focused on the growth of every individual, allowing each child to experience success on their learning journey.

The Junior School Curriculum is developed to promote curiosity, collaboration, creativity and a love of learning. Through explicit teaching and inquiry-based learning experiences our students learn, grow and flourish.

Academics

The centre piece of our approach to teaching and learning is the essential interaction between teacher, student and curriculum that creates the basis of authentic learning. We foster a strong sense of community and inspire our students to be collaborators, researchers, communicators and thinkers.

Through explicit instruction our students are engaged in a Junior School education that is founded in the key knowledge and skills principles underpinning the F-10 Victorian Curriculum, where they will learn to “become lifelong learners, confident individuals, and active and informed citizens” (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, 2024).

Students actively participate in core and specialist learning classes.
