Peninsula Grammar’s Board is responsible for the overall governance of the School, setting strategic direction and reviewing plans and budgets established by school management. The Board delegates responsibility for the operation and administration of the School to the Principal.

MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS


mrs. m. robinson - chair

Mary Robinson is Chair of the Peninsula Grammar School Board of Directors, unanimously elected to the position in mid-2020.

Mary has served on the Board for over 13 years and spent eight of those years in the role of Deputy Chair. A native of Mount Eliza, Mary began her association with Peninsula Grammar 45 years ago, when she and her family were part of the original Chapel congregation that was formed by Reverend John Leaver and met at the school.

Mary also attended  coeducation classes and school productions during her time as a student at Toorak College She later joined a PGS church youth group where she met her future husband, Graeme. Mary has also been heavily connected to the Old Peninsula Football Club, supporting Graeme in his many roles there, including being a founding member and President. Graeme and Mary’s two children are alumni of PGS.

Mary is a Partner at KPMG in their Transformation Program Management Practice and brings with her over 30 years’ experience working in leadership roles within organisations across the globe. Mary is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Her passion for the School along with her remarkable qualifications, position her as a strong leader for the Board for years to come.
