Celebrating 15 Remarkable Years of Leadership

Peninsula Grammar is proud to honour Principal Stuart Johnston for his remarkable 15-year tenure as a leader whose vision, values, and dedication have profoundly shaped our School community.

As only the fourth Principal in our proud 63-year history, Stuart reshaped Peninsula Grammar with a clear vision for the future, steering the School to unprecedented heights. Under Stuart’s stewardship, the School underwent a remarkable transformation in its built environment. His philosophy that educational spaces should inspire learning and collaboration came to life through the development of state-of-the-art facilities, including contemporary classrooms, performance spaces, and sporting facilities. These projects not only enhanced the learning experience but also solidified Peninsula Grammar’s position as a leader in educational excellence.

His dedication to innovation in education has been just as impactful. He championed the enhancement of academic and co-curricular programs, introducing interactive technologies, hands-on learning experiences, and leadership opportunities that have empowered students to discover their potential. His ‘students-first’ approach ensured a thriving environment where academic achievement flourished alongside creative expression.

His tenure saw significant advancements, including the expansion of transnational relationships, enriching our international student program and fostering cultural exchange. These efforts not only broadened the horizons of our students but also strengthened Peninsula Grammar’s presence on the global stage. Stuart also cultivated a culture of unity within the School and the wider community. His commitment to fostering values such as integrity and stewardship and building partnerships with alumni and local organisations elevated the School’s reputation and connected past, present, and future generations.

As Stuart steps into the next phase of his life, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes. His legacy, evident in every corner of Peninsula Grammar, will continue to inspire all who walk through its gates for years to come.

Thank you, Stuart Johnston, for your unwavering commitment and extraordinary contributions.
