Principal’s Update〡One day at a time.

In our rush and nervous haste we can quickly become usurped by the uncertainty that the start of this New Year has brought with it; we could be forgiven for fearing that this year will be just like the last.

What we, as a school, want to do this year, as we have done every year since the pandemic began, is simply put one foot in front of the other. When we do this, when we walk slowly and together, we can steady.

We know as a community we have the capacity to weather any storm. We know as a community we can overcome the greatest of obstacles when we endure the effort as one.

There is so very much to look forward to in the coming weeks, and I warmly welcome you to this, New Year.

If we remember these simple words, at the beginning and end of each day, to take one day at a time, we will provide for ourselves the essential ingredients of calm, of perspective, and of acceptance.

We will need all of these in abundance these coming weeks, and I know they are the hallmark of our community.

I look forward to sharing more news with you in the coming days, and hope you enjoy the last week of the Summer Holidays.
