2027 Academic and General Excellence Scholarships Now Open
Peninsula Grammar is pleased to announce that applications for our 2027 Academic and General Excellence Scholarships are now open. We invite students entering Years 5, 7, or 10 in 2027 who demonstrate a passion for learning and a desire to contribute positively to our vibrant school community to apply.
Our scholarship program is designed to recognise and nurture students with strong academic potential and those who show dedication across a range of co-curricular areas. These scholarships provide an opportunity for students to thrive in an environment that values educational excellence, personal growth, and active community participation.
Peninsula Grammar partners with the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) to administer the scholarship testing process. These tests are designed to identify students with high academic ability and are not based on specific school curricula.
Two categories of scholarships are available:
Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to students based on outstanding performance in the competitive ACER Scholarship Examination. These scholarships recognise students with exceptional critical thinking skills and academic potential.
General Excellence Scholarships are offered to students who achieve a high standard on the ACER examination and also demonstrate significant talent and commitment in other fields. These may include sport, music, leadership, or other notable co-curricular pursuits. A portfolio and interview are key components of this selection process.
At Peninsula Grammar, we believe in fostering well-rounded individuals who will make a meaningful impact. Our scholarship program is a vital part of this commitment, providing students with the support they need to reach their full potential.
Applications will close on Friday 6 February 2026. The scholarship examination will be held on Saturday 14 February 2026.

We look forward to receiving applications from students who are ready to embrace the opportunities at Peninsula Grammar.
