The Old Peninsula School Association (TOPSA)

Welcome to The Old Peninsula School Association Alumni Network! As a past student or staff member of Peninsula Grammar, formerly The Peninsula School, you can now contact other members through our alumni events and Facebook page.
Join our community today to start reconnecting with your past peers. Get access to our private members pages, upcoming event information, business directory, monthly newsletter, photo galleries and much more ...

We hold regular reunions in the H.A.Macdonald Pavilion. These are a great opportunity to catch up and reminisce with your peers, rekindle friendships and relive shared experiences and build fruitful business relationships. For further details on reunions and events please contact Melanie Cridland on +61 3 9788 7753.

Come and see how your old School has changed and enjoy an evening reminiscing in the H.A. Macdonald Pavilion, which adjoins the Harry Macdonald Oval (South or Upper Oval as it was previously known). Do we have your current mailing address and contact details?

TOPSA would not be the thriving association it is today without those who acted upon a vision in 1965 when the first group of Peninsula students reached Year 12 (or Form 6 as it was known then) and created The Peninsula School Old Boys’ Association.

In 1967 at the first committee meeting Daryl Currie was elected inaugural President and Russell Bond inaugural Secretary. This initial desire for past students to remain connected to the School, along with the voluntary work of executive and committees since that time and their desire to give back, has created many friendships, connected past students and parents via personal and sporting networks and created jobs.

The strength of TOPSA lies in its evolution. Through our reunion program, sporting activities, careers days and other events, more people are re-connecting with the School and are prepared to give back through time or funds to ensure success for our past students, current students and future generations. Increasing numbers of past students are now choosing to continue tradition and send their children to Peninsula.

TOPSA membership has increased significantly over the past few years. Our reunion program is going from strength to strength and interstate and overseas members are now able to be actively involved in TOPSA.

Annual events continue to be an important part of the School calendar, helping to  bring together past students and current students/families to help foster community spirit within Peninsula Grammar.

TOPSA's increased active involvement with the sporting clubs (under the banner of 'The Pirates') has also increased the sense of belonging for those who continue to give back.

We look forward to TOPSA's continued growth this year and beyond.

Committee Meetings

All past students are welcome, and encouraged, to attend our committee meetings or join the committee. Meetings are generally held bi-monthly in the H.A. Macdonald Pavilion.

The Benefits of Life Membership

Membership benefits include staying in touch with the important network of your peers through our website, opportunities to participate in careers mentoring, provide diary messages and business contacts and also affinity groups such as football, cricket, soccer and netball. We hope to add further clubs in the future. Staying in touch via TOPSA will also ensure that you are invited to regular reunions and kept up to date with Peninsula Grammar.
