Played 17 years football with POBFC Pirates. I have been working as an Equine Veterinarian at Melbourne Equine Veterinary Group since graduating from Veterinary Science at Uni of Melbourne in 1991. During that time I have been fortunate enough to be involved with some great racehorses, in particular Black Caviar as I was trainer Peter Moody’s main vet. I looked after Black Caviar for her entire racing career and got to travel on the plane with her all the way to the UK where she famously won the 2012 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. There certainly was a lot of pressure in trying to keep her sound for her undefeated career of 25 wins from 25 starts! It was an absolute pleasure to work with such an athlete.
